How to practice self-love; 4 tips

Self-love is the ability to love yourself and accept yourself as you are. But this quality is very rare among the younger generation. They forgot to appreciate their selves.


Because of that reason, they are addicted to living alone, underestimate themselves, and lose self-confidence about themselves. They are full of negative feelings because of this attitude. 


Anyway, you are the future of our world, therefore your mental health is more important than you think. Because of that, you need to love yourself. At that point, only you can start your life. How far you achieved your life will depend on how strong you are. 


So start loving yourself today onwards. Try these tips. Those will guide you.


✍🏻 Go in front of the mirror.


Take a few minutes and look at yourself. Look at your appearance. Wear a nice outfit and see how beautiful you are. How handsome you are.


No matter if you are fat or thin, ignore your skin color... You have your unique beauty. Try to see that.


Please believe you are beautiful. Accept that. Because beauty is a relative thing. Because of that never you will not ugly.


See your beauty. Appreciate yourself.


Try different hairstyles. Smile and see. The most important thing is you should be able to see your beauty.


✍🏻 Be thankful.


Look at yourself. Be thankful for everything that you have in your life. 


  • if you have your hands and feet properly
  • If you have enough food to eat
  • If you have enough mind to memorize things and do your studies properly
  • If you have a loving family
  • If you have a home to live in... Etc..

Please be thankful for all these things you have.


Because if you go somewhere else and observe deeply you will be able to find more people suffering because of not having these things. So keep this in mind ‘you are a lucky person. 


And when you started to be thankful, you also get blesses from the universe.  


✍🏻 Look at the positive side. 


There is a famous quote; “Be positive. Your mind is more powerful than you think. What is down in the well comes up in the bucket. Fill yourself with positive things.” – Tony Dungy. Because of that, if anything happens take it positively.


Like that learn to stay positive at any time.


✍🏻 Do not think about what others say about you.


Most of the time other people judge you. Your appearance, your things, your job... Etc. External people always gossiping about your things. Maybe they are your friends, relatives, or anyone. 


Do not relate them to your life. Do not relate anything external to your life. 

  • if someone said, you are fat. Just smile and say thank you
  • If someone said, you are now 30 but still you are unmarried. Just say I like to be single and ignore it

Like that learn to ignore things told by external people. Do not relate those rubbish things to your life. 


Because you are the person who knows about yourself. Do not give others control of your life. Do not allow them to make your decisions. 


So keep these 04 tips in your mind. Become a person who can love yourself. That day you will feel you are the prettiest person in this world. From that day onwards your happy journey will begin.


If you learn to love yourself. You are not so far away from your dreams.
